Inno Setup is a software tool that provides users the means to create professional Windows installers in a simple manner.
The application has a straightforward installation process, and once installed it provides guidance for creating your desired installments. The GUI is not sophisticated, but it's well-built, having properly organized page sections and responsive buttons, and consumes a low amount of system resources.
Inno Setup offers extensive support for both administrative and non-administrative installations and supports the creation of shortcuts, registries, and INI entries. In addition to that, the installer is able to register DLL/OCX's and type libraries, use shared files counting, replace in-use files, and compare the file version info.
In order to create an installer, you need to fill in basic information about the program, set the base folder, provide the path to the executable file and make some further program customizations.
In conclusion, Inno Setup is a useful software solution for creating setup builders, though it does require a significant learning curve, and the interface is slightly interesting.
